White Crane Spreads its Wings
Application: Opponent is attacking from East (Double handed
grab). The opponent is countered with a double ward off to
deflect the energy away from the body. Hidden front kick.
Form: The opponent attempts a double handed grab from East to West.
Both opponents left arm are deflected causing them to fall forward or open up their
middle body. This move also contains an obvious Press / Shoulder Stroke from the
transition from Raise Hands to White Crane.
Free Fight: Generally defences against a double handed attack from any direction
aimed at middle / upper body.
First example of Empty Stance on Toe. This implies a hidden front kick as against
stance on heel which prepares a hidden front leg sweep.
