2. Sinking of Shoulders and
Elbows

Shoulders down, elbows down following
the body sequence from the head
sinking down at all times. We want our
lower body to be heavy and the upper
body to be light by imagining the Chi
sinking down.

Keeping your shoulders and elbows
down helps (in a martial sense) as it
makes it more difficult for you to be
grabbed and controlled by your arms.
