Raise Hands and Step Forward
Application: Opponent is attacking from South (left middle
body punch). The opponent is countered with a catch and arm
lock / break. Side ways energy. Hidden sweeping kick.
Form: The opponent attempts a left hand strike from South to North.
The opponents left arm is deflected and grasped by my left hand. My right forearm
lightly pushes along the side of my opponents elbow trapping / breaking the arm.
This move leads into a Roll and Shoulder Stroke.
Free Fight: Generally defences against a left handed attack from any direction
aimed at middle body. Often referred to as being done to right hand attack, but this
leaves you open to left counter from opponent.
First example of Empty Stance on Heel. This implies a hidden ankle sweep as
against stance on ball which prepares a hidden front leg kick.
