8. Harmony Between the
Internal and External Parts

Tai Chi Chuan is one of the Internal
martial arts so your Internal and
external movements should be
co-ordinated together. First
understanding the meaning of the
movement. What is the application?
Then from the inside (internally)
thinking the movement. Thinking of
your opponent, then your outside
movement can be co-ordinated
together. Then you will feel your spirit is
raising up. Don't be thinking of anything
else like.."What am I doing today?"
Each movements meaning is important.
Helping you to raise up your spirit, your
essence, your chi.
